The Choices We Make

Your life is the sum result of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously. If you can control the process of choosing, you can take control of all aspects of your life. You can find the freedom that comes from being in charge of yourself.” -Robert Bennett

Every single minute in life , we make choices. This is both a great truth and a hard lesson because it reminds us of our own power. Not power over others, but the hidden, untapped power to be our best and live out our dreams.Every single thing you do everyday, you’re creating your future.Little things become big things. Always!

Sometimes have found myself in some situations that forced me to ask…”Will the future be happy with the choice you’re about to make?”some small choices everyday don’t seem to be anything but if you combine them together you realize how they have impacted your life negatively or positively…

A few years ago,I had a discpline of what to eat, drink, read etc…after I got married and had my baby afew things changed and got into some small a bit of eating some sweet stuff during the day,the energy boost felt awesome!.. after all I thought to myself…it’s just once every day…but before I knew it ,it was an habit that become hard to break. My hundreds of poor small choices had become a powerful routine…it took more than year to go back to my usual routine… Choices can be costly!

The only way to change that negative outcome is to come back to the present moment, be fully mindful of it, and make good decisions. For instance, why should you stay in a job you dislike, and live in constant dissatisfaction, walk in every morning for years without any fulfilment…how will it benefit you in the long run?..may be you are waiting to make that big choice…but remember, someone once said ,smaller choices are far more powerful in the long run than big choices right now.Even if you make occasional great big choices, you won’t achieve success if you consistently make poor small choices

We don’t need magic to turn things around,
-Jim Rohn once said “Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals.”
It may be difficult, frustrating, and humbling to develop and grow. But if you stick to it, you’ll eventually reach bigger successes. The only big problem is when we confuse success to mean material things other than living a fulfilled life..which in the process lead us to make wrong choices at the cost of our lives and others.

It is our choices that determine our experiences. The choices we are making today will show up in our experiences in the future.Applying basic fundamentals over time is boring. But it’s extremely effective and it’s the only way to freedom.
